Background
Matt began his career at Washington University in March of 2008. Prior to this, he worked as an electrical engineer, developing software and hardware for embedding computing environments in the power distribution and management industry. Matt also has experience teaching as an Adjunct Instructor of mathematics at John Logan College in Carterville, IL and as part of a development team in the CTCCAD group in the NIH Clinical Center where he spent time as an Intramural Research Training Award Summer Student in 2005. As part of his Ph.D. work, Matt has investigated seeding, segmentation, feature manipulation, and pattern classification techniques to be used in Screening Mammography CAD systems.
